States And Policies
This section explains the customer-facing states and policy ideas you may see while using Skedular.
The exact words in the app can change by product and operator. Use the app screen as the source of truth.
Booking State Basics
A booking state tells you what happened to one reservation.
| State idea | Plain meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Draft or started | You began the booking but it may not be confirmed yet. | Finish the steps shown by the app. |
| Pending | The booking is waiting on payment, approval, or another step. | Read the detail page and complete the next visible action. |
| Confirmed | The booking is active. | Keep the detail page for reference. |
| Canceled | The booking is no longer active. | Check whether any refund or follow-up is shown. |
| Expired | The booking was not finished in time. | Start again if you still need the space. |
| Failed | The booking did not complete. | Check payment, availability, or support guidance. |
Subscription State Basics
A subscription state tells you what is happening with recurring access.
| State idea | Plain meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Active | The subscription is currently running. | Check the schedule and related bookings. |
| Pending | The subscription is waiting on a required step. | Finish the visible action or contact support. |
| Renewal due | A new period may be coming up. | Check renewal and payment information when shown. |
| Renewal failed | The next period could not continue. | Check payment, availability, or operator guidance. |
| Canceling later | The current period may continue, but future renewal is stopped. | Read the date or period boundary carefully. |
| Canceled | The subscription is no longer active. | Check whether access has ended or if any follow-up is shown. |
Payment State Basics
Payment state affects what can happen next. A booking with unfinished payment may not behave like a confirmed booking.
Common meanings:
- Not started: no payment attempt is attached yet.
- Waiting: the payment step is still in progress.
- Confirmed: payment finished and the purchase can move forward.
- Rejected or failed: payment did not complete.
- Expired: the payment window ended.
- Refunded or refund pending: money movement may be in progress or complete.
Do not share payment card details with support. Use the booking or subscription reference instead.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation policy explains when a booking or subscription can be stopped.
Before canceling, check:
- whether the action applies to one booking or a subscription
- whether it is immediate
- whether it stops a future renewal only
- whether the current booking remains active
- whether refund information is shown
Refund Policy
A refund policy explains whether money may be returned.
Refunds can depend on:
- booking start time
- cancellation time
- product rules
- payment confirmation
- operator review
- whether the purchase is one-time or recurring
Skedular may show the action, but the operator’s policy controls the outcome.
