Products
A product is what a marketplace operator offers for customers to book or subscribe to.
Products can represent access to a desk, room, resource, pass, membership, or another bookable offer. The exact name and rules come from the operator.
Product Detail Page
The product detail page explains what you are choosing. Read it before you book.
Look for:
- the product name
- where it is available
- whether it is one-time or recurring
- the time, date, or schedule options
- price or payment information when shown
- rules, limits, or policy notes
One-Time Booking
Use a one-time booking when you only need the product for a specific time or date.
The booking form should guide you through the available options. If an option is not available, it may already be taken, outside the product rules, or not offered for your account.
Recurring Subscription
Use a subscription when you need the product on a repeating basis.
Subscription availability and renewal behavior depend on the operator’s product setup. Some subscriptions may renew automatically. Some may not. Read the page carefully before confirming.
Expected Result
After you complete a booking or subscription, Skedular should take you to a confirmation or detail view where you can review what happened.
If payment, availability, or policy prevents the action, the app should show the next step or explain why it cannot continue.
When To Use Another App
If you are creating or editing the product itself, use Spaces Help. Customer Help only covers choosing and using products as a customer.
Product Types
A product can be simple or detailed. The important part is what the product gives you.
Common examples:
- a desk for one day
- a meeting room for a few hours
- a weekly or monthly pass
- access to a specific resource
- a recurring membership-style offer
The operator controls the product name, description, rules, price, and availability. Customer Help explains how to read the page, not how the operator configured it.
Availability
Availability tells you whether the product can be booked or subscribed to for the time or schedule you chose.
Availability can change because:
- another customer booked the same resource
- the product is outside its allowed schedule
- the location is closed
- the product has a capacity limit
- the operator changed the product
- your account does not meet a rule for that product
If a time is unavailable, choose another time or product. Do not assume the app is broken just because one option is not offered.
Price And Payment
When price or payment details are shown, read them before confirming.
Check:
- the amount
- whether the purchase is one-time or recurring
- whether taxes, fees, or policy notes are shown
- whether payment is required now or handled another way
Do not enter payment or account details anywhere outside the Skedular flow or the approved payment provider flow shown by the app.
Product Rules
Product rules explain limits. They may affect cancellation, refund eligibility, time windows, recurrence, or who can book.
Examples of rules you may see:
- minimum or maximum booking length
- available days or times
- cancellation window
- refund policy
- subscription renewal behavior
- customer eligibility
If you are unsure, contact the operator before confirming the purchase.
What Happens After Confirmation
After confirmation, the app should show a booking or subscription result. That result is the best place to check whether the action completed.
If you leave the page too early, open your bookings or subscriptions list and look for the newest item.
If You Made A Mistake
Open the booking or subscription detail page first. If a cancellation or refund request is available, it should appear there.
If no action appears, the product policy may not allow the change from the customer side. Contact the operator with the product name and booking or subscription reference.
